The Star of Hope Spiritualist Church welcomes all people regardless of religious beliefs, traditions, lifestyles and abilities. As Spiritualists, we have the following 7 Spiritual Principles by which we try to live our lives:

  1. A Divine Source of all creation which we know as God.
  2. The unity and connection of all God’s creations.
  3. The communion of spirits and the ministry of angels.
  4. The continuous existence of the soul.
  5. Personal responsibility.
  6. Compensation and Retribution here and hereafter for all deeds done on earth.
  7. Eternal progress open to every soul that wills to tread it by the path of eternal good.

Our Mission

Is to assist in the advancement and diffusion and to promote, promulgate and teach throughout the World, and more particularly in the Province of Ontario, the religion of Spiritualism and spiritualistic phenomena and philosophy.

To organize and conduct courses and classes for spiritualistic instruction and to provide for the education of fit and proper persons as authorized teachers, lecturers and demonstrators of the Religion of Spiritualism, and for the ordination of ministers.

To carry on charitable work.
