With gratitude and respect, we acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. Today, this land is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful for the opportunity to congregate in this territory.

Charity Night – Feed The Need Durham
Net donations received on the Last Sunday of each month will be set aside for donation to Feed The Need Durham. When the total net donations reach $500, we will issue a cheque to them. The current balance as of Aug 31st is $313.

Healing Thursday’s – 2nd Thursday of the month
7-9 pm Free will donations gratefully accepted. Star of Hope Spiritualist Church, Oshawa is pleased and excited to create a circle of healers. A gathering of light workers. Each evening, we will discuss and practice a healing modality, or a subject related to healing. From novice to experienced, or just plain curious, you are welcome to join us.

PLEASE do not leave any food, food wrappers, or beverage containers in the hall (garbage bins) as they attract critters. Thank you for your cooperation.

Cornerstones of our service to our community:

Sunday Divine Service regularly rotates guest Speakers, Proof of Survival providers (Messages), and Chairperson. Our Divine Service occasionally has special events and presentations associated with it.

Wednesday Evening Meditation
Meditation is often used as a tool for stress relief, relaxation, as well as to maintain and improve our physical well-being, however it has purpose that goes far beyond these benefits. Continuous practice of meditation helps us to develop our true understanding ourselves and our life purpose. Regular meditation enhances and develops our ability to focus and find solutions to issues we face in our daily lives. It provides insight, clarity, intuitive awareness and balance.

Through guided meditation, peer discussion and encouragement we develop our natural abilities to spiritually connect and unfold. As with any ability, the more your practice the easier it gets, and eventually becomes a positive habit.  It’s a great way to learn more about Spiritualism and perhaps yourself as well.

With gratitude and respect, we acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. Today, this land is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful for the opportunity to congregate in this territory.
