President' Message - Oct 2012

Hello and welcome to our redesigned website. This new design is reflective of the continued growth in attendance at our weekly Sunday service, Tuesday Evening Mediumship Development Circle and Wednesday Evening Meditation, coupled with our desire to integrate the website with social network sites such as Twitter, Facebook and

It is also a tool that assists us in fulfilling one of three very important mandates set out in our charter of incorporation which is to encourage and promote Spiritualism throughout Oshawa; Ontario; Canada; and the rest of the world.

The non-nominal statistical data collected tells us that we are fulfilling that mandate. Non-nominal data does not tell us any identifying information such as who you are, your age or the exact location where you reside. It does tell us the number of people from each country that access our sites, the number of “first time' visitors, and returning visitors to the site each month.

We feel blessed to see that new and returning visitors are in Canada, The United Kingdom and Russia to name just a few countries. Visitors to our facebook page hail from Oshawa and Ontario; The United Sates and United Kingdom. In the few months of setting up a Twitter account we have received comments from South Africa.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that I take this moment to acknowledge and thank Gary of Towerhouse Group for donating his time, energy and expertise to the redesign and development of this site.  Heartfelt thanks also go out to local artist Diane Logan for creating and donating the artwork you see throughout these pages, and that you will see in future tools, media and promotional materials we are developing.

Wherever you are from, whatever your personal belief system is, it is our hope that in visiting our website, or one of our weekly events, we are of help to you in connecting with the God of your understanding and assisting you in your Spiritual journey.

In Love and Light,

Rev. Owen A. Ryan
